I’m a pillow girl. I suppose it started in my childhood taking apart the living room couch pillows and building forts. I can still remember my mother’s famous phrase when she saw pillows scattered all over the floor, “please put the pillows back, I just cleaned the living room.” Was I the only one? 

Pillows are a great accessory to brighten a room. A few months ago, I came across a company called Meringue Designs.

This company was started by a stay at home mom, who took her passion for sewing she had since childhood, and decided to start her own company for home décor.  Did I mention she is also a part time seamtress? Each piece is sewn by her personally, with great detail. 

Meringue Design’s patterns are fun, unique, & stylish, and can be mixed with almost any home décor. Her pillows have developed a fabulous reputation online and in the press. 

Don’t let the price fool you, she is able to keep her prices low, due to low overhead. 

The best part, since they are designed and made by a mom, who understands that pillow covers need to be practical, all covers are machine washable!  

Gotta love women who follow their passion!
