When it comes to air purifiers, I have been through them all. When The Sharper Image came out with one.. I got it.. Brookstone... tried it.. don"t get me started on all the other products that "claim" to clean the air in your home..I bought them too and many expensive filters later.
After all of my purchases over the years, I decided to do my own research and not rely on a some salesperson for quality information.

When it comes to products, I like to find out as much as I can about the background of the company. When I found out that the company is owned /designed by a father to help his son with asthma, I knew that this was not your typical mass market purifier, but a company with alot of heart behind it. Alen Corp does not produce any other appliances, their focus is strictly air purifiers.
The filters last about 1 year, if you vacuum the front regularly.You wont believe how much dust it collects! A light indicator tells you when to replace it. Those engineers think of everything. Don't they?
